On labor day we got up bright and early to see the hot air balloons take off, but sadly it was too windy and they never did. It was the last year of the balloon classic in the springs, but I’ve heard rumors of it coming out here next year, so we’ll see.
Ella is nine months now, and seriously cuter than ever. She says momma and da, she lets go and balances, and she is eating anything and everything. She has one tooth on the bottom, and I can see the other trying to break through. We had a rough few nights because of that tooth, but she seems to be doing a little better now. She loves playing with her brothers and sister and gets really excited to see them. As you can see in a couple of the pictures below, she loves to stick her tongue out all the time!
Our little Ella Bella is 8 months old already! She is such a darling baby. She’s just started eating baby food and loves it! She’s getting around anywhere and everywhere, but hasn’t tried getting into the kitchen cupboards yet. She is, however, trying to climb the stairs.
She has the biggest grin that melts my heart. Oh, how I love her.
We’ve gone to the Panerathon every year since it started a few years ago (except last year when I was pregnant), and the kids love it. I went with my mom this year (should have taken a picture!) and we had a great time chatting. Hayden Parker and Audra did the kids fun run, and had so much fun!
Each time I post one of these I feel like Ella is just growing up so fast! She is crawling all over the place now, and getting into everything. The other day she was playing in the living room and Kevin walks in and says “Have you seen your daughter? Go see what she’s doing.”. She had pulled herself up and was standing by the toy basket, holding on to the edge. We both ran for our cameras but she sat down before we could capture it.
Hayden had the part of an African Storyteller in his first grade concert. He had been practicing his line for a couple weeks, but his daddy convinced him that it needed to be a bit more theatrical. I wasn’t sure if he would actually say it that way in the performance, but he sure did! Everyone loved it!
